General Description:

A Quality Assurance Associate ensures that DTI products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach our customers. The Quality Assurance Associate will inspect the final product to make sure it has been built with compliance and meets DTI and customer expectations. The Quality Assurance Associate must have an observant eye for detail. They must fully understand the requirements for the products or services and have a responsibility towards our potential and existing customers. Their goal is to preserve DTI’s reputation by ensuring that our products and services are capable to drive sustainable growth. The Quality Assurance Associate will also be responsible for ensuring continual quality improvement within DTI. They must have a strong background in quality management and exceptional leadership abilities.

Reports to: Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
  • Determining quality control standards along with the Manager
  • Overseeing production processes
  • Improve reliability of new product development processes
  • Maintain company quality standards
  • Review products, processes and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made
  • Oversee the product manufacturing process to ensure quality
  • Actively participate in production meetings with the manufacturing team and with the management team
  • Devise and review specifications for products, services or processes
  • Inspect final output and compare to the quality requirements.
  • Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
  • Submit detailed reports to the Manager
  • Participate in ISO auditing procedures internally
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 5+ years’ quality management experience

Other Skills:

Certifications are not a requirement for the Quality Assurance Associate position but having a very in depth understanding of Quality Managements Systems is a requirement.
